As active participants of the Third Green Business Crusade, we had the privilege of joining the inspiring “Planta Monte” initiative (tree planting) carried out at the Cory Coyllor school in Acolla – Junín. Our participation in this wonderful event was marked by the donation of 100 seedlings, made up of 50 pine and 50 Quinoa, a gesture aimed at promoting reforestation in the region. The selection of the tree species was critical to the initiative as water needs can limit the ability to ensure the tree’s success. By planting Quinoa as well, the students are maintaining a historical species native to the region, and an important nutritional source of food. This collaborative effort brought together enthusiastic teachers, parents, and students from the educational community, emphasizing our commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
