For today’s particular project, leaks were found at the posts installed atop the parapet copings. These leaks have caused significant damage to the terrace partition finishes and the copings themselves. Proper waterproofing of roof penetrations and wall appurtenances is essential, as it is one of the most common causes of finish and structural deterioration due to leaks.
