108th Street-Queens FISP and Facade upgrades
This is a large storage building located in Queens - NY built in 1930. It is composed of 4
buildings + two garages. The brick, CMU and Stucco building was painted in white and blue once the new tenants (PRIME Storage) occupied the structure.
M+S team used a 3D Leica Laser Scanner and high-power binoculars to survey the building from the
street and roof levels. That is approximately 400,000 SF of building surface that we managed to capture
and survey in under 6 hours. This method has increased the accuracy and expedited the production of our construction documents.
