Mayta + Sebastian Architecture D.P.C. is an Architectural Design and Consulting firm recognized for it's expertise in building, design, and restoration/rehabilitation. Our firm services clients in a wide range of industries including residential, commercial, education and industrial. The practice leverages emerging technologies, and specializes in building envelopes and forensics as well as new design for both residential and commercial projects. We strive to reach beyond project specific and emergency issues and create spaces that benefit all occupants, as well as provide comprehensive services for the life of our client’s buildings.​

M+S uses the latest technology (laser scanners, BIM, Infrared, and drones) to analyze existing building and design new structures, and ​ we work closely with all clients  so all projects are developed within the requested timeline and budget.

M+S has a strong commitment to create a room for women and minorities in the field of construction and support education in underdeveloped communities.

OUR TEAM

Raul E. Mayta, R.A.
Principal Architect - Founder

Raul is a licensed Architect in NY & Florida and registered as a NYC QEWI (Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector) with an extensive experience in high rise building envelopes, design, and restoration.

Raul leads our Exterior architecture team specializing in restoration of high rise buildings. He also offers consulting for six NYC based architecture & engineering firms. With a background in Industrial and civil Engineering, Raul brings the technical knowledge to respond to the exciting challenges of construction.

​​Raul's passion for nature, lasting construction details and new technologies allow our teams to provide energy & cost efficient designs that inspire, and achieve longevity for years to come. 

Hannah Sebastian DeMayta
Senior Project Manager - Founder

Hannah splits her time leading our Building Analytics team bringing a scientific and technologically advanced approach to all our projects. When she's not in the depths of a point cloud or Building Information Model, you will find her guiding our Interior architecture team Specializing in high end residential projects, but with a love for commercial and office interiors.  Having grown up in a family of Artists, Engineers, and Architects, Hannah brings a breadth of experience to serve our Design clients.

From her days sanding corners off sharp cabinets for her parents contracting company, Hannah has always been drawn to quality design and the attention to detail required to accomplish great works. Hannah works closely with our clients to make sure they live and work in spaces they  will thrive in.

Marina Costa
Project Manager

Marina comes to M+S after years working as a Project Manager for a broad range of  clients in NYC. Marina's attention to detail and organizational expertise has quickly made her our scheduling master, keeping us up to speed on the latest project management processes and always pushing the envelope to work smarter, not harder. When she's not in the office you are sure to find her enthusiastically hanging from scaffold, making sure contractors are following our documents  to a "T"

Giuliana Alan Camarena
Project Architect/
​BIM Manager

Giuliana is a Licensed Architect in Peru and Leads our Lima office. In addition to her design and construction knowledge, Giuliana  is our documentation master who spearheads the conversion of our laser scans to 3D BIM models, and beyond, by creating our comprehensive repair documents, diagrams and visual communications shared with owners, consultants and contractors.

Ana Vesho
Junior Project Manager

Ana Joined M+S as a project associate and quickly advanced by always taking on her projects with enthusiasm and attention to detail. At M+S Ana plays a key role conducting field surveys, construction site visits, and preparing construction documents for our active interior and exterior projects in Manhattan and Queens.  She also leads our Drone and Laser Scanning department, always looking for the next way she can push our technology uses. 

Laura Licitra
Senior Project Manager

Laura Joined M+S after over 10+ years of experience in FISP and Façade restoration working at  some of the most established firms in NYC. Laura enjoys both hanging from and fixing buildings and has become a fantastic mentor to her coworkers and a great asset to the team. Laura is ready to expand her horizons at M+S by working on design projects while maintaining her strengths in FISP.

Vineeta Mudunuri
Junior Project Manager

Vineeta joined the M+S team upon graduating with her Masters in Architecture from Pratt and after years working on Multifamily projects in her home country of India. Vineeta divides her time learning the ropes of Façade projects, while sharing her intimate knowledge of residential projects as a part of our design team.  She has quickly learned Laser Scanning, BIM, and now is expanding our horizons into the word of digital fabrication. She plays a key role assisting our Principals and project managers in surveying projects, producing Site Visit reports , BIM models, and in the field soon on a construction site near you!

Luis Villar Moya
Project Associate

Luis joined  our M+S  Peru team as a project associate specializing in Building information Modeling taking this chance to transition from his prior experience as an on-site construction project manager to learn more of the front-end documentation process . He assists on all of our projects starting translating our point clouds to Revit Models, then carrying them through the design process to Construction Documents followed by as-built documents used to guide property owners and project managers on future building maintenance programs. 

Daisy Marroquin
Office Manager

Daisy joined Mayta + Sebastian with prior experience at  a Real estate development firm, and as an Operations Manager prior to that. Daisy is our Renaissance woman, more humbly know as our Office Manager and has become an indispensable member of our team. Daisy in charge of our day - to day operations including  billing, staff management, organization of our marketing efforts and preparing our project proposals.
Daisy makes sure that our team has all the tools, "toys"  (and snacks!) we need, and is always a ray of sunshine in our work days. 

Nimer Arenas Jimenez
Project Associate

Nimer joined  the M+S  Peru team as a project associate after gaining experience as an intern Architect in California where he honed his technical Revit skills, and mastered the art of accessory dwelling units.
Nimer spends his time producing amazing Revit models alongside Luis and Giuliana, and brings with him the curiosity to test new workflows, software, and modeling techniques.  He assists on the documentation of all of our projects and is working with the BIM team to develop the next level of project delivery and M+S Building Management tools.​
