Nayak Residence gut renovation (In progress)

Nayak Residence 
M+S is providing full Design, Permitting and Construction Administration for the proposed gut renovation.  A new kitchen design replacing existing cabinets, creating a new open- plan kitchen, dining and sunroom/family room area. 

​Scope of work to be included in the filing documents is; at the first-floor to design a dining and kitchen extension at the first floor level, along with opening of the existing load bearing wall between the existing kitchen and dining rooms to create a new open – plan Kitchen, Dining and sun room/ family room area. New Kitchen Cabinets, Appliances, and finishes shall be specified including a new kitchen Island and seating area. At the first-floor hallway, the existing storage shall be eliminated to enlarge the living room, which includes review of the existing 2nd floor framing and design of new structural reinforcement as required based on removal of the existing partitions. At the existing first floor bathroom off the mud room new plumbing fixtures (toilet, sink and shower stall) shall be installed on existing rough with new tile floor and wall finishes to be specified.
