University Avenue-Bronx Facade repairs and 9th cycle FISP

University Avenue is a storage building located in The Bronx, NY built in 1923. It is composed of 4
buildings + a 1 story garage. It is a brick, CMU and Stucco building painted in white and grey. The
building features a back alley which is not accessible to the public.
M+S team used a 3D Leica Laser Scanner and high-power binoculars to survey the building from the
street and roof levels. That is approximately 410,000 SF of building surface that we managed to capture
and survey in under 6 hours. This method has increased the accuracy of our drawings and as a result the
façade repair quantities which are generated by Revit.
